Harrison, NJ is on the PATH to be a vital "urban suburb"

Just a 20-minute ride to the heart of Manhattan's financial district, Harrison has had one of the fastest revitalization periods I have ever seen in this area.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey recently opened a new rail station on their World Trade Center Trans-Hudson line, with one-seat direct links to Lower Manhattan, Newark and Jersey City.

With a new 20-story apartment building on the rise (as well as a ton of others that are visible from just passing through on your way to WTC), as well as the explosion of a shopping district, Harrison is quickly becoming a new "happening" neighborhood.

The development is part of what appears to be the Port Authority's greater plan to integrate the area's transit – as can be seen through their new airport plans to rebuild La Guardia, improve JFK and rebuild parts of Newark Airport.
